Deadline Date: April 28, 2026
The Call for Social Projects Extremadura 2026 aims to support social entities working in the region to improve the quality of life and promote equal opportunities for people in situations of social vulnerability.
The focus areas of this call include support for older people, people with disabilities, mental disorders or illness, and initiatives addressing poverty and social inclusion, along with cross-cutting actions such as social and employment integration, educational opportunities for equity, access to temporary residential resources, intercultural coexistence and social cohesion, promotion and protection of health and mental health, prevention of violence and addictions, and the use of culture as a driver for social transformation.
This initiative is designed to strengthen organizations that are actively engaged in addressing social challenges within Extremadura. By prioritizing vulnerable populations, the call encourages projects that directly contribute to improving living conditions and fostering inclusion within society. The program emphasizes the importance of integrated approaches that combine social, educational, cultural, and health-related interventions.
Funding of up to 50,000 euros is available for selected projects, with an implementation period of 12 months. This financial support is intended to enable organizations to carry out impactful and sustainable initiatives aligned with the call’s objectives.
Eligible applicants include non-profit entities and social economy organizations that clearly state in their statutes a primary objective related to social cohesion or social and/or cultural interest. Public administrations are not eligible to apply.
Organizations or branches that currently hold agreements are also eligible to apply, provided they submit a progress report outlining the implementation status of their 2025 project. This report must be included as part of the application process for the current call.
