Are you interested in applying to the call for proposals Umställningslabb within Water Wise Societies 2025? Then you have the opportunity to book an individual guidance meeting at the Water Wise Societies program office to receive support in the application process.
Now Water Wise Societies is transforming Sweden – towards the mission Sustainable Water for All by 2050. In this call, they fund actors who in collaboration explore, test and scale up new ideas and solutions in the direction of the mission. And who together establish themselves as a transition lab that solves a geographical or thematic challenge linked to the mission.
Goals
- Water Wise Societies’ mission – Sustainable Water for All 2050 – consists of three sub-goals:
- Resilient supply and management of water in society
- Secure supply and management of water
- Ensure good drinking water quality
- Adapt society to flooding and drought
- Building and managing society in harmony with water
- Wise water use
- Sustainable water outlets
- Reduce water use and leakage
- Recycle and reuse water and its resources
- Healthy lakes, streams and groundwater
- Reduce negative impacts on aquatic ecosystems
- Prevent and reduce the spread of hazardous substances
- Reduce eutrophication in lakes and streams
- Resilient supply and management of water in society
Funding Information
- The total budget is SEK 80 million.
- You can apply for a maximum of 36 months in this call for proposals, and receive a maximum of SEK 13,500,000 in funding with up to 75% aid intensity.
What can you apply for?
- To collaboratively explore, test and scale solutions that contribute to one or more of Water Wise Societies´s assignments, and to develop into an established transformation lab that can continue to thrive.
Eligibility Criteria
- Actors in the “spring to coast” system, for example from the public sector, business, research organisations, institutes and civil society. The actor group must include at least three parties, of which at least one is a need-owner.
