Deadline Date: February 09, 2026
The Mercy Corps Ventures is calling on early-stage startups in Colombia that are developing tech-enabled solutions to strengthen climate resilience for vulnerable communities.
Selected ventures will receive equity-free grants of up to $40,000, technical assistance, and access to a global network of partners and investors to help scale their impact. The program focuses on three key areas: adaptive agriculture and food systems, inclusive climate fintech, and climate-smart technologies. Startups working on solutions that help farmers adapt to climate variability, improve food security, and transition to sustainable practices are encouraged to apply. Fintech innovations that provide microinsurance, credit, savings, or investment solutions to help low-income populations, smallholder farmers, or MSMEs prepare for and recover from climate shocks are also sought. Additionally, technology that strengthens infrastructure, monitors climate risks, protects ecosystems, or enables sustainable resource use is a priority.
Eligible startups must be early-stage, for-profit ventures operating in Colombia, with solutions aligned to the Resilient Futures Thesis. Ventures should demonstrate clear impact on underserved populations, innovative approaches that are first-of-a-kind in Colombia, scalable business models, and strong team execution capacity.
Selected startups will benefit from equity-free funding, tailored technical assistance and mentorship, and access to Mercy Corps Ventures’ global network of partners and investors, enabling them to scale their climate resilience solutions effectively.
