Call for EOIs: Establishment of an Information Point within the Palestinian Federation of Industries

Specific Objective

• The specific objective of this contract is to establish an Information Point within the Palestinian Federation of Industries over 12 months, to provide information and promote awareness about the Italian credit lines and collect data to assess the impact of the Italian financial instruments.

Scope

• Description of the assignment:
  • This service contract looks at ensuring facilitation of access to Italian credit lines by Palestinian companies through the establishment of an information point within the Palestinian Federation of Industries.
  • In support of this initiative, the contractor will commit to hiring one (1) dedicated human resource for the Information Point established within the Palestinian Federation of Industries. This resource will facilitate access for Federation members to essential information regarding the services and tools available to Palestinian companies through the initiatives of Italian Cooperation, particularly in the area of credit.
  • Additionally, this unit will engage in outreach activities to promote awareness of Italian economic development initiatives among companies and regional sections of the Federation. It will also function as a data collection centre to assess the impact of these Italian initiatives on the Palestinian economic and social landscape.

Funding Information

• The total value of the contract is EUR 25,000.00.
• The maximum duration of the performance of the contract is 12 months from the date the contract with the dedicated staff is signed by the last contracting party.

Expected Outputs

• The expected outputs of this contract are as follows:
  • One (1) human resource is hired;
  • Two (2) quarterly reports are delivered to AICS, indicating the activities implemented during the period, with particular emphasis on the activities of outreach.
  • Four (4) workshops are organised between the territorial representatives of the Federation and representatives of banks, credit institutions and leasing companies.
  • One (1) final report is submitted, presenting the disaggregated qualitative and quantitative data of the whole implementation period.

Target Groups

• Palestinian industries, private sector exponents, and entrepreneurs, without limitation of sector, dimension or nature of the business.

Eligibility Criteria

• General Criteria:
  • For the purpose of this procedure will be considered eligible those Associations, Federations, Institutions, whatever are defined by the local legislation, which:
    • Possess the required knowledge of the Palestinian industrial sector;
    • Represent no less than 50 enterprises;
    • Are authorised to operate within the premises of, and with the database of the Palestinian Federation of Industries;
    • Are entitled by the local law to undertake public procurement and recruitment processes.
