Deadline Date: February 15, 2026
The Kiltir is now accepting grant applications to strengthen cultural entrepreneurs in Seychelles and Mauritius to accelerate their innovative projects.
The initiative aims to support the emergence and consolidation of creative cultural projects, strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of project leaders, and promote the economic autonomy of cultural initiatives. It also seeks to encourage projects with social, territorial, and inclusive impact while fostering a regional and international network of cultural entrepreneurs.
The program will award a total grant of €10,000 per project, with three winners selected from each island. In addition to financial support, participants will benefit from an immersive, in-person week, providing hands-on guidance and opportunities to connect with fellow cultural entrepreneurs.
This initiative represents a unique chance for creative talents in Seychelles and Mauritius to grow their ventures, expand their networks, and make a meaningful social and cultural impact in the region.
Initiatives in these territories can span music, visual arts, cinema, design, fashion, fine crafts, live performance, publishing, digital projects, video games, or hybrid solutions combining culture, technology, and innovation. Innovation may relate to artistic expression, economic models, distribution, digital tools, or organizational approaches. Proposed solutions should contribute to enhancing cultural heritage, promoting local identities and communities, advancing gender equality, including youth, or supporting marginalized audiences and territories.
Eligible applicants include individual entrepreneurs, existing organizations, or those in the process of formalizing their ventures. Projects at any stage—whether an initial idea, pre-incubation, or an already registered company—can apply.
