Deadline: December 05, 2025
The Australian Government has announced the Australian Small Business Advisory Services (ASBAS) Digital Solutions Round 3 to support service providers in helping small businesses adopt digital tools effectively.
The focus areas include introduction to digitalising your small business, social media, digital marketing and selling online, using business software, AI and emerging technologies, cybersecurity and data privacy.
This grant opportunity provides a total of $25.136 million over 5 years from 2025–26 to 2029–30, with three grants available, each corresponding to a defined geographical service area. Applicants may apply for one or more grants to service multiple areas, but a separate application must be submitted for each. The maximum grant funding per service area is $8.819 million for New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory, $7.371 million for Queensland, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, and $8.946 million for South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. The program will fund one service provider exclusively for each service area and will not support proposals that cover only part of a region.
The services to be delivered under this program must cater to a variety of skill levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced, while also ensuring better access for First Nations and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) small business owners.
Eligible applicants must have an Australian business number (ABN) or Indigenous Corporation Number (ICN), be registered for the goods and services tax (GST), and be a trading corporation, or an incorporated trustee on behalf of a trust. Eligible entities include those incorporated in Australia, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations registered under the Corporations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act 2006 (Cth), and incorporated not-for-profit organisations. Ineligible applicants include individuals, partnerships, unincorporated associations, trusts (unless represented by an incorporated trustee), government bodies, and non-corporate Commonwealth entities.
The grant opportunity is administered by the Department of the Treasury and follows an open competitive selection process.
