Deadline: November 02, 2025
Aqua for All has opened a call for applications for Social Impact Incentives (SIINC), supporting impact enterprises in the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector to scale their business and impact.
The focus of this opportunity is on impact enterprises and businesses operating in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector across Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, or the MENA region, which are raising repayable investments of at least EUR 500K for water enterprises, at least EUR 500K for (menstrual) hygiene enterprises, and at least EUR 250K for sanitation enterprises. Eligible applicants must be revenue-generating entities of any legal form, at least at the growth stage with a defined product or service offering, an established base of paying customers, and a proven business track record of over three years. In addition, enterprises must have achieved break-even or profitability or demonstrate a clear plan to do so in the short term, maintain a strong WASH focus with particular emphasis on low-income communities, gender, and/or climate, and show a proven record of delivered impact supported by an established impact measurement system.
SIINC rewards impact enterprises with time-limited payments for achieving predefined and independently verified outcomes. These incentives allow enterprises to earn additional revenue, strengthen profitability, and attract further investment to expand. To be eligible, enterprises must raise repayable investment in parallel, which may include equity, debt, or mezzanine financing.
The ticket size for SIINC support ranges between EUR 150K and 350K, depending on factors such as growth stage, profitability, and investment round. Typical transactions last two to three years, with enterprise-specific metrics tracked and verified. The selection process will conclude by Q2 2026, followed by a structuring phase, with contracts expected to take effect in the second half of 2026.
Past SIINC interventions have enabled enterprises such as Khmer Water Supply Holding in Cambodia to expand access to piped water for rural low-income households, and Aqua Clara Kenya to increase sales of affordable household and community water filters while reaching underserved communities.
The deadline to apply is 2 November 2025 at 11:59 PM (CET). Applications are to be submitted online.
