Deadline Date: November 21, 2025
The Regional Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Matching Grant Programme, a World Bank-funded and OECS-led initiative under the Unleashing the Blue Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project, is available across Grenada, Saint Lucia, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, aiming to increase productivity, create jobs, and build capacity primarily for women in select blue economy value chains through targeted financial support.
The Programme aims to strengthen MSME competitiveness and create added value while fostering the adoption of climate-resilient practices in the target sectors. The Programme is to specifically support tourist operators, fishers, and coastal communities to increase productivity, jobs, and innovation while ensuring sustainable management of the underlying marine and coastal natural assets, the establishment of stronger market linkages and business relations for targeted beneficiaries with other value chain actors.
Window 1: For individual MSMEs, offering grants from USD $5,000 to USD $25,000.
The Matching Grant Programme supports micro, small, and medium enterprises that are legally registered and operating in Grenada, Saint Lucia, or Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Eligible enterprises need to have been in operation for at least two years, maintain under fifty employees, and generate less than 1,000,000 EC Dollars annually while demonstrating a commitment to growth, job creation, innovation, and sustainable environmental practices. Applicants must also provide evidence supporting their ability to match grant funds and valid financial history for the last two years.
MSMEs interested in this grant can only submit one proposal, and only one grant will be awarded per enterprise for this window. All applications must be submitted in English using the specified Grant Application Form and Grant Budget Form. Hand-written applications are not accepted, and submission is only through electronic mail to the provided address. Two information sessions are scheduled to help applicants, taking place on October 23, 2025, and November 10, 2025.
