The Chips JU Programme is inviting applications to support collaborative projects aimed at advancing innovation in Electronic Components and Systems (ECS) across Europe.
The focus areas of this call include ECS value chain integration, cross-disciplinary collaboration, development of pilot lines and test beds, demonstrators, innovation pilots, zones of full-scale testing, and the introduction of new or improved technologies, methods, products, processes, tools, and services.
The maximum national funding available is €650,000 per project when there is more than one Danish partner, with a cap of €650,000 per Danish partner. If a Danish organisation acts as the project coordinator, the maximum national funding increases to €1,300,000 per project while maintaining the €650,000 limit per partner. The minimum funding amount is €50,000 per partner, and EU co-funding is not included within these national funding limits.
Innovation Fund Denmark provides co-funding to Danish participants in projects that are successfully selected under this call. The funding supports a range of eligible costs, including salaries, travel, subcontracting, materials, communication and knowledge sharing, other project-related expenses, and overheads as per applicable rates.
The call is targeted at Danish industrial consortia composed of large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises, along with participation from universities, research institutes, and public organizations. All Danish organisations directly involved in project activities are eligible to apply for support through Innovation Fund Denmark.
