The Marketing Strategy Scheme is seeking grant applications to support micro and small enterprises in developing effective marketing strategies that enhance efficiency, competitiveness, and overall business growth.
The focus areas of this scheme include promoting entrepreneurship, facilitating the economic exploitation of new ideas, fostering the creation of new firms, supporting innovative and smart economic transformation, enhancing regional ICT connectivity, and improving the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs. Specific objectives also include job creation in SMEs through productive investments and providing access to expert marketing services.
The Marketing Strategy Grant Scheme targets micro and small enterprises with limited in-house marketing resources, providing part-financing for external services that design comprehensive marketing plans aligned with the enterprise’s business goals. The scheme supports businesses in promoting their products or services effectively to achieve measurable objectives and competitiveness in the market.
The programme falls under Policy Objective 1 of the SFC2021 Programme 2021–2027, “A more competitive and smarter Europe by promoting innovative and smart economic transformation and regional ICT connectivity,” addressing entrepreneurship, innovation, and the creation of new firms through structured support. Eligible businesses can access grants of up to €10,000, part-financing the costs incurred for professional marketing strategy development.
The initial allocated budget for the scheme is €500,000, and the programme will remain operational until 31st December 2026, subject to the availability of funds. Eligible enterprises include micro and small-sized businesses engaged in economic activity with legal personality recognized under applicable national law. Enterprises without legal personality must be registered under the Second Schedule of the Civil Code.
This grant provides micro and small enterprises an opportunity to access professional marketing expertise, optimize promotional efforts, and strengthen their market position while contributing to broader European objectives of sustainable growth, innovation, and competitiveness.
