Deadline Date: April 27, 2026
The City of Parramatta Council Social Enterprise Support Grant provides funding to assist local social enterprises in accessing professional services and developing business plans to ensure their sustainability and growth.
The grant focuses on two main objectives: assisting existing local social enterprises in engaging professional services such as marketing, web design, and bookkeeping to support ongoing operations and sustainability, and providing funding for organisations or groups at the concept development stage of a social enterprise project to support research, development, and the creation of a social enterprise business plan.
The funding limit for this grant is $2,000, and only one application per organisation is funded per financial year. Eligible applicants must be an incorporated body, have an incorporated body providing auspice until they can operate independently, or fall under an eligible social enterprise structure. For the purpose of this program, a social enterprise is defined as a business that prioritises people and planet, generates a substantial portion of income from trade, and invests profits and resources into its social, cultural, or environmental purpose so that public or community benefit outweighs private benefit.
This grant provides a valuable opportunity for local social enterprises to strengthen their operations, develop innovative business models, and expand their positive impact on the community and environment.
