The National Science Foundation has announced the opening of the 2025 Technology Development and Start-up Grants Schemes, providing a valuable opportunity for innovators and entrepreneurs to develop innovative products or start their own businesses based on novel technologies.
The objective is to strengthen the capabilities of small, medium and large scale companies, State Sector and Individual entrepreneurs to be competitive regionally and globally by product/ process improvements, and assisting innovative ideas to become reality.
The schemes are open to applicants with innovative products, processes, or services at Technology Readiness Level 4 who wish to develop them further under the Technology Development Grant Scheme, as well as to tech start-ups, spin-offs, or scale-ups based on novel products, processes, or services through the Start-up Grant Scheme.
These grants aim to promote technology-based entrepreneurship and innovation, enabling participants to enhance competitiveness through product or process improvements, and to turn innovative ideas into market-ready solutions. By targeting both early-stage and scaling ventures, the programme fosters a strong innovation ecosystem that supports the journey from concept to commercialization.
