The Inspiring Asia Micro Film Festival 2026 is inviting filmmakers, students, NGOs, social enterprises, and changemakers across Asia to submit entries that highlight the power of communities to create positive social change through storytelling and innovation.
The festival focuses on the theme “Empowering Communities” through the concept of “Root – Persevere – Flourish”, emphasizing belonging, resilience, mutual care, shared goals, social impact, innovation, sustainability, storytelling, community-driven solutions, and the promotion of dignity and hope through creative expression.
Inspiring Asia serves as a platform celebrating Asian cultural diversity, innovation, and efforts that contribute to meaningful social transformation. In 2026, the platform will expand its regional film festivals across China, Indonesia, Mongolia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong, creating broader opportunities for local voices and stories to reach international audiences.
The festival welcomes submissions that present personal stories, social projects, activities, and innovative approaches addressing community challenges. Organizers believe that powerful storytelling can increase awareness, encourage action, stimulate conversations, and inspire long-term social impact.
