The Alice Springs Revival and Resilience Grant Program supports small tourism operators in the Alice Springs and MacDonnell tourism region who are facing financial hardship to help them remain open and operational as the region continues to recover.
The objective of the Alice Springs Revival and Resilience Grant program is to provide support to small tourism operators that are facing financial hardship in the Alice Springs and MacDonnell tourism region, enabling them to remain open and operational while the region continues to recover. The intended outcome of the Alice Springs Revival and Resilience Grant program is for eligible tourism operators in the Alice Springs and MacDonnell tourism region receiving funding to remain open and operational throughout the program and into financial year 2026–27.
A total of $1 million over the 2025–26 financial year is available for the Alice Springs Revival and Resilience Grant. Applications will be assessed in the order that they are received, up to and including the application closing time. All eligible applicants will receive a first payment of $6,500. After applications have closed, any remaining funds will be equally distributed across all eligible applicants as a second and final payment. The total value of the grant will be determined by the total number of eligible applicants.
To be eligible to receive a grant, applicants must be the operator of a tourism business that has 19 staff or less, have an annual turnover of less than $5 million, and have experienced a cumulative decrease of at least 20% in turnover and visitor numbers over the past three financial years from 2022–23 to 2024–25, along with meeting other eligibility requirements as outlined in Section 4 of the grant guidelines. The grant may complement other funding but may not duplicate assistance from other Australian or state/territory government programs over the life of the grant.
