Deadline Date: April 30, 2026
The Aboriginal Tourism Product Distribution Grant Program is requesting applications to support majority Aboriginal-owned businesses in promoting and selling their tourism products and experiences.
The program focuses on contracting expert advice for distribution support, developing pricing structures and rate sheets, adapting existing products for target customers, implementing approved online booking systems, and contributing to data entry of existing bookings into new systems.
This program provides funding ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 to eligible applicants operating in the tourism sector. The funding is intended to help businesses strengthen their distribution capabilities and improve access to customers through better systems and structured product offerings.
Eligible uses of the funding include engaging expert advice to improve distribution strategies and refine pricing models, as well as adapting tourism products to better align with the needs of targeted customer segments. Businesses can also use the funding to implement an online booking system approved by Tourism NT, including systems such as Room Manager, Rezdy, Newbook, and RMS, and to support the transfer of existing booking data into these new systems when implemented together.
To be eligible, applicants must be more than 50% Aboriginal owned and operate as an Aboriginal-owned business or organisation within the Northern Territory. They must also be legally constituted and registered in Australia.
