Deadline Date: April 22, 2026
The Fund to End Factory Farming is seeking applications to support projects that expose the harms of factory farming and promote safer, more ethical food systems.
The program focuses on addressing the risks and harms of factory farming, promoting accountability in food production, improving animal welfare, and fostering safer and more sustainable food systems. Priority is given to projects that educate, engage communities, conduct research or data analysis, and provide tools for systemic change. Eligible activities include staffing and contractors with sustainable employment plans, software and data access, training, community engagement and travel, survey administration and analysis, other types of data analysis, and publication costs.
Grants range from $20,000 to $50,000, with a maximum award of $75,000, and a total of up to $250,000 is available through this funding opportunity. This support enables organizations to implement initiatives that expose the dangers of factory farming while promoting safer and more ethical alternatives for food production.
Eligible applicants include U.S.-based nonprofit, for-profit, and public entities, including farms, food companies, academic institutions, and other organizations committed to improving the lives of animals and advocating for responsible practices in agriculture.
By providing funding for innovative, community-focused, and research-driven projects, the Fund to End Factory Farming empowers organizations to create measurable impact in animal welfare and sustainable food systems.
Through this initiative, projects can influence public awareness, support policy change, and promote accountability across the food industry, ultimately improving outcomes for animals, people, and communities alike.
