Apply for the VHBOS Fellowship Program, a Boston-based fellowship for early-stage entrepreneurs who are representative of Greater Boston’s rich racial and gender diversity.
- Nine weeks of hybrid programming
- $10,000 non-dilutive grant
- July through September 2024
Benefits
- Level up your business
- You’re busy building your business and they’re here to help. You’ll receive hands-on project support ranging from design to fundraising.
- Join a community that’s local
- The community of founders and investors root for you. Through IRL meetups and the digital platform, you will unlock a network of local and national founders that have a “give first” mentality.
- Unlock new fundraising opportunities
- Funding your business is not easy, but it doesn’t have to feel impossible. At the end of the program, you will receive a non-dilutive grant of $10,000 for your business, with the potential for future dilutive investments.
Who is VHBOS for?
- Founders of a post-idea and pre-revenue early-stage company. This means you are developing a solution to a problem that people need addressed now but haven’t made sales yet.
- Teams with at least one co-founder currently living in one Greater Boston.
- Founders/teams that can commit 2 hours a week to the Fellowship.
- Founders with a gender and/or racial identity underrepresented in tech. This includes – but isn’t limited to – women, non-binary and trans folks, Black, Latinx, Asian and Pacific Islander, and Indigenous American people.
- Startups that have raised less than $500k in dilutive funding.
