Deadline: January 04, 2026
FASPE is inviting applications for its intensive two-week Business Fellowship program in professional ethics and ethical leadership, scheduled to take place from May 22, 2026, to June 5, 2026.
The focus areas of the FASPE Business Fellowship include the complicity of German businesses and business executives in the design and execution of Nazi policies, legal compliance and corporate social responsibility vs. ethical behavior, the meaning of ethics in business in the absence of a code of conduct, the ethics of technological and business innovations, navigating multiple loyalties to stockholders, customers, employees, vendors and communities, recognizing multiple motivations and ensuring that motivations align with personal and institutional morals, and tactics to address ethical issues within larger corporate institutions.
Each year, FASPE Business awards fellowships to 13 to 16 graduate business students and early-career business professionals. The program is held in Berlin and Poland, where Fellows visit key sites of Nazi history and participate in daily seminars led by specialized faculty. It combines the power of historical place with academic rigor and provides opportunities for creative exchange and cross-disciplinary learning alongside Law and Design & Technology Fellows.
FASPE is committed to covering all program costs and related travel so that financial ability does not affect participation. Costs covered include roundtrip economy-class airfare from the US to Europe, all transportation costs for group travel and activities in Germany and Poland, all admission fees, all program materials, all hotel costs, all group meal costs, and pocket money to cover non-group meals.
The fellowships are fully funded to ensure that financial ability does not determine participation. Applicants must be graduate business students or early-career professionals, generally with no more than 10 years of total professional experience. FASPE seeks candidates who are in formative stages of their careers, open-minded, reflective, and capable of engaging in responsible discussions on difficult and controversial issues. The program values diversity and encourages applicants from all religious, political, socioeconomic, and gender backgrounds.
FASPE Business Fellows have gone on to hold positions at major financial institutions, global businesses, non-profits, and consulting firms. Through the Fellowship, participants build long-lasting professional and personal networks that continue to support them throughout their careers.
The application for the 2026 Business Fellowship is now open and will close on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 11:59 PM EST.
