The Future Founders Fellowship 2026 is a prestigious, year-long nationwide program in the United States designed to accelerate the personal and business growth of young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 who are actively leading and growing their startups.
The Future Founders Fellowship 2026 offers a free, no-equity program to young entrepreneurs across the United States who are ready to take their startups to the next level. The Fellowship is open to founders aged 18 to 30 who hold equity and decision-making roles—typically the CEO or C-level positions—within their companies. Participants are expected to be proactive, passionate about entrepreneurship, and actively taking steps to scale their ventures.
The program is structured to support entrepreneurs through mentorship, leadership development, and access to a strong peer community. It focuses on personal growth as much as business success, offering guidance from seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts. Fellows can participate virtually from anywhere in the U.S., with occasional in-person entrepreneurship retreats, known as Founders Weekends, held in Chicago.
Future Founders emphasizes inclusivity by being industry-agnostic and welcoming startups from all sectors. Each cohort benefits from engagement with Entrepreneurs in Residence who guide participants through leadership, motivation, and accountability practices. After completing the Fellowship, alumni have the opportunity to join the Alumni Accelerator for up to three years, ensuring continued access to the Future Founders network and resources.
Since its inception, the Fellowship has supported over 100 companies across the country, helping founders collectively generate $374 million in revenue, create nearly 1,980 jobs, and raise $299 million in capital. The virtual model allows participants from all U.S. states to join, fostering a diverse and nationwide entrepreneurial community.
The impact of the Fellowship extends beyond business growth—it transforms participants’ approaches to leadership, communication, and personal development. Many alumni credit the program for helping them build stronger, more sustainable businesses while cultivating emotional intelligence and lifelong professional networks.
