Deadline Date: May 31, 2026
The MOVE-ComCashew invites young and emerging entrepreneurs in the cashew sector to transform their ideas into investment-ready, climate-smart agribusiness ventures through the e-MOVE AgriCanvas programme.
The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes of this initiative include developing investment-ready agribusiness ideas within the cashew value chain, promoting climate-smart and low-emission business practices, strengthening youth-led MSMEs in agriculture, supporting sustainable food systems and rural livelihoods, and enabling innovation in cashew production and processing through structured training and entrepreneurial development under the e-MOVE learning platform.
The e-MOVE Call for Proposals is designed to support emerging agripreneurs working in the cashew sector who are ready to take their learning forward into practical, fundable business plans. Participants are expected to build on the knowledge gained from the free cashew courses offered on the e-MOVE platform and translate these insights into a structured AgriCanvas submission.
Applicants must be 18 years or older and based in an OACPS member state. They must also demonstrate completion of the required training by providing a certificate ID from the Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness course. Only submissions made through the official form, including the complete AgriCanvas entered directly into the form, will be considered for review.
Selected winners under this initiative will receive support in the form of kickstart prizes designed to strengthen early-stage agribusiness development. These include direct financial support of 2,000 EUR to scale operations, essential digital tools such as a laptop, tablet, or software, and access to expert mentoring, training, and networking opportunities to help refine and grow their ventures.
Through this initiative, MOVE-ComCashew aims to empower young entrepreneurs in the cashew value chain by enhancing their ability to attract investment and adopt environmentally sustainable practices. The programme ultimately contributes to building resilient agribusinesses that support long-term economic growth and rural development.
