Deadline Date: January 04, 2026
Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) is seeking applications for its Spring 2026 six-week hybrid accelerator programme designed to support early-stage companies using technology to drive positive social and environmental impact.
The focus areas of the opportunity are innovative application of technology to allow for a problem to be solved at greater scale or in a new way, scalability with the potential to positively impact millions of lives and reach a £100–200m enterprise value within 8–10 years time, intentionality and purpose with products and services developed with the intention to drive positive social or environmental outcomes, direct impact through a solution that can generate direct positive impact with systemic solutions having a credible hypothesis of how impact will be achieved, and reducing inequality through affordability and accessibility that aim to reach the underserved and underrepresented.
The programme selects 10–15 companies twice a year and provides an upfront investment of £60,000 to each selected venture. Applications are currently open for the Spring 2026 cohort, which is structured as a six-week hybrid programme delivered online and from BGV’s offices in London.
During the programme, participating companies engage in focused work on product development, impact, business models, growth, team building, and fundraising. Support includes expert workshops and clinics, opportunities for network building and peer learning, coaching from the BGV team, and in-person talks and social events. The programme continues beyond the six weeks with follow-on investor mentoring to support longer-term growth and investment readiness.
Eligible ventures must be early-stage and suitable for equity investment as a company limited by shares. Teams must be available to fully participate in the six-week hybrid programme and should have the right to work in the UK. Companies are required to be incorporated in the UK, or planning to incorporate, while maintaining global ambitions.
