Do you want to start a business but don’t know where to begin? The Early Sparks Program is for you.
A new 5-week introductory program is now available for aspiring entrepreneurs who want to turn their business ideas into reality. Throughout the program, participants will explore and refine their business ideas with support from experts and peers, develop a roadmap to transform their vision into a practical business plan, and gain access to valuable resources and tools for growth. The program also provides practical steps for taking a concept from idea to execution, helps build new business relationships, and strengthens confidence to pursue entrepreneurial goals. By the end of the program, participants will have a clear understanding of their entrepreneurial vision and the steps needed to achieve it.
Eligibility for the program includes being 18 years or older, residing in the Waterloo Region, and not currently owning a registered business in Ontario. Applicants should have a new business idea or a plan to expand an existing idea and must be ready to complete the business training components of the Early Sparks program offered by the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre. Participants are expected to attend weekly sessions for five weeks and commit at least eight hours per week to developing their business idea.
This program offers a structured and supportive environment for anyone looking to take their first steps into entrepreneurship and gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed.
