StartupTN, in collaboration with the Tenkasi District Administration, is organising the Tenkasi Hackathon to help innovators transform impactful ideas into practical solutions for the district and beyond.
The focus areas of the opportunity are Agriculture and Agri-Tech, Governance and Civic Tech, Waste Management, Water Monitoring, Environment and Sustainability, Education and Employability, and Social Welfare and Safety.
The Tenkasi Hackathon encourages participation from startups and students who can bring forward innovative, solution-driven ideas that address real-world challenges faced by the district. The initiative aims to foster creativity and problem-solving by engaging young innovators in developing practical technological and community-focused solutions.
Participants will work on themes that span critical sectors, enabling them to develop ideas with the potential to support sustainable development, improve local governance, enhance environmental monitoring, and strengthen public welfare systems. By providing a platform for experimentation and collaborative innovation, the hackathon supports the creation of impactful solutions that can benefit communities in Tenkasi and beyond.
