Braze, a global customer engagement platform, is offering underrepresented founders an opportunity to scale their startups with 12 months of free access to its platform and supporting services through the Tech for an Equitable Future program, aiming to help lean teams build stronger customer relationships, drive revenue, and accelerate growth worldwide.
Tech for an Equitable Future helps underrepresented founders grow and scale their businesses with Braze. The product grant program offers 12 months of free access to the Braze customer engagement platform and supporting services, giving startups the tools they need to build stronger relationships with their customers, drive revenue, and accelerate growth. With Braze, lean teams can deliver personalized experiences on any channel without requiring a large team or extensive technical expertise. Since 2020, Tech for an Equitable Future has supported dozens of high-growth startups led by underrepresented founders. By providing access to industry-leading technology through this program, Braze aims to help more founders turn bold ideas into successful, sustainable businesses.
Qualification Criteria: Underrepresented-founded companies, including those with Black and women founders in APAC, EMEA, and North America; Bootstrapped Business or less than $30M in venture funding; Under 100 Employees; and Compatible SDK and appropriate engineering and marketing resources.
The Tech for an Equitable Future program by Braze empowers startups led by underrepresented founders to leverage a comprehensive customer engagement platform for business growth. Through the program, selected companies receive the Braze Go package for 12 months, which includes unlimited push notifications, webhooks, and in-app/in-browser messaging for up to 75,000 monthly active users, 500,000 message credits, two IP addresses, one Currents Connector for messaging events integration, access to SDKs and APIs, onboarding services for six weeks, a dedicated Customer Success Manager in the first year, free Braze certifications, and access to a private digital community of fellow founders.
Program participants can also benefit from partnerships with BET+ and Coursera. BET+ offers mentorship, a branding masterclass, and free email advertising to help companies boost acquisition, retention, and brand impact. Coursera provides 1:1 sessions with CRM experts, workshops on social media, content marketing, and SEO, and 50% off Coursera for Teams to help teams continue learning and growing.
