Deadline Date: March 15, 2026
The AIM-HI Women-Led Oncology Venture Competition empowers female scientist-entrepreneurs in the oncology field by providing seed funding, expert coaching, and access to a global network to accelerate the development of life-saving cancer treatments.
The program focuses on women-led oncology companies, pre-seed, seed, and Series A investments, technology ownership, mentoring, visibility, networking, leadership development, and strategic support for advancing groundbreaking cancer treatments and innovations. This competition is open to women-led oncology companies worldwide seeking early-stage investments. Eligible companies must have a woman in senior leadership with an equity stake, either as Founder or C-level executive, and must hold technology ownership to qualify for investment funding from AIM-HI and co-investors.
Participants benefit from interaction with the selection and judging committee members, who are key opinion leaders in the oncology field, providing valuable feedback to refine their strategies, clinical development plans, and intellectual property positioning. Top winners receive honorariums, certificates of recognition, and consideration for further investment, subject to rigorous due diligence conducted by the AIM-HI Investment Committee. Winners also gain opportunities for recognition and presentations within the global oncology research community, facilitating collaboration and networking with experts and investors.
Companies that successfully pass the due diligence process become eligible for investment from AIM-HI and co-investors, while the process itself helps refine business strategy, IP, and clinical development plans, positioning the company effectively for future investment opportunities. In addition to financing, AIM-HI provides essential resources such as mentoring by experienced industry leaders, visibility through strategic team-building support, and networking opportunities within its global ecosystem of innovators, investors, and influencers in the oncology life sciences sector.
