Deadline: September 27, 2025
In celebration of International Children’s Day 2025, the ERIA Healthcare Unit and ERIA Startup Team under E-DISC have launched Health Innovation Spark (HITS), beginning with its first programme HITS4KIDS to accelerate healthcare innovation for children and families.
HITS4KIDS serves as a platform to showcase innovative solutions focused on children and families from global startups who have solutions that are applicable to Southeast Asian & Indian market, facilitate knowledge exchange on child healthcare trends and challenges in the region, and enable connections and collaboration amongst key ecosystem players.
The initiative will feature a Startup Pitch Session where selected global startups with child-focused healthcare solutions will present to a diverse panel of judges and stakeholders. Alongside this, a Startup Award will be granted to one standout startup that demonstrates outstanding innovation and impact, receiving a token of excellence and the opportunity to collaborate with ERIA on a research- or business-based project. In addition, 1-on-1 Matching Sessions will allow startups to engage directly with private-sector representatives, investors, government agencies, and academia for collaboration, investment, or research opportunities.
ERIA is now inviting nominations and applications from healthtech startups to participate in the HITS4KIDS pitching session, fostering cross-sector collaboration and healthcare innovation across ASEAN and India. Eligible applicants must be early- to growth-stage startups operating in, or preparing to launch in, at least one ASEAN Member State or India. Their solutions must address pressing healthcare challenges for children or families, adopt a science- or evidence-based approach, be open to engaging in ERIA’s research and knowledge exchange, and show aspirations for regional or international collaboration.
Selected startups will gain significant benefits including a reward token and certificates of appreciation, opportunities to pitch to international companies, investors, and policymakers, as well as entry into business matching sessions through ERIA’s extensive regional ecosystem network.
Whether you are a founder ready to showcase your healthcare solution or someone wishing to nominate a promising startup, this is a valuable opportunity to drive innovation for the well-being of children and families.
