Join the programme of bringing positive change to the nation if you are an entrepreneur with experience in the business of Service Centre repairs for mobile devices and consumer electronics; as well as Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
This is a national call inviting eligible ICT enterprises to apply for participation in the Enterprise Development (ED) programme.
Aims
- With this ED programme, Samsung aims to achieve the following:
- Enhance empowerment & ICT entrepreneurship development that will stimulate job creation.
- Sustained investment in business support and development to boost economic growth.
Benefits
- Gain the opportunity to operate a suitably funded and accredited service centre in a commercial location with substantial retail exposure.
- This programme is for skilled service centre entrepreneurs with a minimum of one (1) year experience in mobile device and or consumer electronic repairs.
- You could be one of the selected entrepreneurs with grant-funding to support operations, specialist business development support and access to Samsung’s service repair network.
Eligibility Criteria
- You have to be a South African Citizen and Company, registered in SA by laws of the country;
- Your business needs to be at least 51% black owned, operating for a minimum of one (1) year;
- Your turnover has to be less than R50 (fifty) million per annum;
- Your business has to be classified as an Exempted Micro Enterprise (“EME”) or Qualifying Small Enterprise (“QSE”), as defined in the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 53 of 2003 (as amended from-time-to-time);
- Proven track-record of operating in the Consumer Electronic Repair or ICT industries;
- You need to have the relevant certification and expertise for your business; and
- You need to have good communication skills, business acumen, interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial capabilities.
