The Foodpreneur Scale-Up program is designed to support food and beverage manufacturers, producers, and distribution businesses with high growth potential.
The focus areas of the program include production process and shelf-life testing, food safety, regulation and traceability, Canadian food labelling regulations, connecting with buyers, brokers and distributors, how to pitch products to national chains, product/recipe development and food innovation, how to sell products to retailers, navigating packaging for food and beverage products, managing cash flow for profits today and tomorrow, marketing and branding strategies.
This four-month hybrid program runs from October 14, 2025, to February 28, 2026, with weekly workshops on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. through December 2. In addition to workshops, participants receive one-on-one coaching, industry expert mentorship, and access to Foodpreneur Advantage resources and support through February 2026.
Applicants must have a business operating for at least one year with a tested consumer packaged good, a minimum annual revenue of $50,000, at least 10 active wholesale accounts, and demonstrate strong growth potential with a scalable vision. Business owners must also commit to full participation in the program’s training and mentorship components.
The program provides access to industry experts, customized workshops, peer discussion circles, mentorship, and a $5,000 grant to help scale food and beverage businesses successfully.
