The National Centre for Promotion of Employment for Disabled People (NCPEDP) is inviting applications for the NCPEDP–Mphasis Assistive Technology (AT) Hub Startup Pitch Day, to be held in October 2025 in New Delhi as part of EMPOWER 2025 organized by IIT Delhi.
The focus areas include Startup Support, Infrastructure Building, Policy and Standards, Awareness and Engagement, and Collaboration and Access.
The Pitch Day is designed to drive innovation, adoption, and accessibility of assistive technologies in India. It nurtures innovators working on solutions for people with disabilities while also creating a collaborative platform for dialogue among startups, researchers, policymakers, industry partners, and civil society organizations. The event will commence with panel discussions, followed by pitching sessions where eight shortlisted startups will compete for grant opportunities of up to INR 5 lakhs along with mentorship support.
Interested startups must complete the application form with business details by 15 September 2025. Shortlisted applicants will be notified by 20 September 2025. This initiative builds on the AT Hub’s mission to promote inclusive, affordable, and accessible technologies through seed funding, mentoring, awareness campaigns, and partnerships with Disabled People’s Organisations and industry actors.
