The International Scale-Up Programme helps Greater Manchester businesses expand internationally with expert guidance, workshops, trade support, and access to mentors.
Greater Manchester businesses with high growth potential now have the opportunity to join a transformative programme designed to take them to the next level on the world stage. Delivered by the Enhanced Trade Partnership in Greater Manchester, this initiative combines the expertise and resources of the GM Business Growth Hub, Department for Business and Trade, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority to build a globally competitive and internationally connected business community.
Over six months, selected businesses will receive strategic, tailored support to develop a sustainable export strategy. Participants will benefit from one-to-one guidance from experienced International Trade Advisers, access to specialised workshops, and opportunities to engage in trade missions, market visits, and introductions to overseas partners. In addition, businesses can access a grant of up to £2,500, subject to participation in mandatory programme activities, and enjoy discounts on membership and international trade services from the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
The programme is designed for established, high-growth businesses based in Greater Manchester that have been operating for at least three years, employ a minimum of five staff, and generate at least £250,000 in annual turnover. Whether you are a first-time exporter or already trading internationally, your scalable product or service must demonstrate strong potential for global markets. Participants are expected to commit time and resources to the six-month programme, with specific tailored activities completed within a twelve-month period. All sectors are welcome.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact cohort of ambitious Greater Manchester businesses and gain the expertise, support, and financial resources needed to grow on a global scale.
