The Intercontinental Biennial invites artists of any nationality to participate in its global poster art competition and exhibition.
The focus is on the following: Artists of any nationality participate in the competition and exhibition. Intercontinental Biennial artists with new projects. Projects from any country in the world can participate. Studios, companies, as well as independent professionals may participate. If the work infringes plagiarism or intellectual property rights, the sender will be solely responsible.
Participants authorize the organization to release the images of the project in the media and digital platforms deemed appropriate, respecting at all times the copyright. All projects received will enter a selection process. The selected projects in the process will be certified and recognized by the Organizing Committee. The selected projects will participate in the Intercontinental Biennial exhibition whose presentations and exhibitions include countries from America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
The selection of the works will be the responsibility of the organizing committee. Any objection provided for or not in the bases will be resolved by the Biennial definitively and without appeal.
Posters with a variety of themes: social, environmental, artistic, advertising, typographic, cultural. A minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 posters may be presented. The participant chooses the theme(s) in which he/she wishes to participate.
The dimensions of the posters must be 70x100cm (JPG, 300dpi). Each image file must bear the following name: country of origin, followed by the name of the poster and the participant’s first and last name. Each poster submitted must have a brief description in a PDF or word file.
Artists and professionals from studios and companies worldwide can submit their poster projects for consideration. The posters can explore a range of themes including social, environmental, artistic, advertising, typographic, and cultural topics. Each participant is able to present between one and three posters, ensuring each is formatted to the required dimensions and resolution. Submissions must include a brief description of each poster. The selection will be conducted by the Organizing Committee responsible for certifying and recognizing the chosen projects. Following selection, these projects will be featured in the Intercontinental Biennial exhibitions spanning multiple continents.
The process involves submitting the application form with personal details, project descriptions in accepted document formats, and compressed image files of the posters. If file size exceeds 8MB, alternative file transfer methods can be used with notification to the provided email. Confirmation of receipt of submissions will be sent by the organizers, with instructions to add their email address to the participant’s contacts to ensure further communication is received.
Key dates for the competition are the September 15, 2025 deadline for submissions, the announcement of selected projects by September 20, 2025, the declaration of award-winning projects on October 15, 2025, and the presentations and exhibitions from November 28 to December 8, 2025.
