The Inova Amazônia – Global Edition is an advanced initiative designed to support businesses with high potential operating in the bioeconomy sector within the Legal Amazon region, enabling them to scale globally through qualification, acceleration, and access to international innovation and investment environments.
The focus areas of this initiative include: a journey of qualification, acceleration, access to markets, credit and investments, among other incentives, financial or otherwise, divided into interdependent stages, regulated through a specific call for proposals; online training aimed at equipping participating companies with innovation content and using best practices and methodologies to develop innovative projects aligned with the Amazonian bioeconomy.
A customized acceleration journey, encompassing, but not limited to, the following support services: group training, individualized specialized mentoring, business and investment rounds, and international missions; participation in previous stages of the journey may guarantee the applicant company eventual bonuses and/or points in recognition of its involvement and performance in the journey; distance learning with innovation content aimed at preparing selected companies to develop an Innovation Project oriented towards the subsequent stages of this program and other initiatives focused on innovation and bioeconomy in the Amazon.
Building on previous successful editions, this initiative is a strategic evolution aimed at businesses that already demonstrate maturity and promising performance. The program targets companies that have excelled in earlier acceleration models and are prepared to access global opportunities. It seeks to equip them for internationalization and investment attraction by providing visibility at leading global events related to innovation and bioeconomy. The implementation will take place through technical cooperation between SEBRAE and UNDP, with each institution fulfilling its responsibilities throughout the program process.
The program is structured around interconnected phases, ensuring continuous and progressive development. The qualification stage consists of online training designed to strengthen innovation and prepare participants to create structured innovation projects. During the acceleration stage, companies will engage in a tailored development journey that includes training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, networking opportunities, and participation in international missions aimed at positioning businesses competitively in global markets.
This announcement specifically refers to the launch of Stage 1 – Training, focused on distance learning with innovation content to prepare selected companies for upcoming phases and other innovation and bioeconomy initiatives in the Amazon.
