ICE, Agency for the Promotion Abroad and Internationalization of Italian Companies, partner of Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, is organizing the fifth edition of the Global Start Up Program, an integrated development path abroad reserved for 70 innovative Italian startups, engaged in the development of product/service innovations, intending to consolidate their technical, organizational, and financial capabilities with the aim of tackling new markets.
During their time abroad, the startups will be involved in training sessions, mentoring activities, pitching sessions, meetings with potential investors and corporations, and networking events. The goal is to provide companies with a growth path that allows them to develop their skills and broaden their perspectives.
The project intends to offer participants the possibility of taking advantage of an acceleration path abroad through the involvement of international accelerators, selected by the ICE Agency, which will host the selected startups for 4 weeks, to be carried out approximately between October and December 2024 based on the agreements that will be made with the individual accelerators and the specificities of the destination country.

Target
- Innovative startups from Italy or with a registered office in Italy, with product/service already commercialized or marketable, willing to take advantage of an acceleration path abroad in 6 international accelerators in 5 countries: USA (New York & Los Angeles), UK (London), France, Germany, and Singapore.
Criteria
- Only innovative startups in possession of all the requirements listed on the expiry date of the call are admitted, including having already had a first round of financing/seed capital (minimum requirement 200,000 euros) and/or an active turnover of at least 200,000 euros.
- Startups that took part in Only One of the previous editions of the program can apply for the fifth edition but only for a location different from the previous one. They remind you that priority will be given to startups that have not already participated in one of the previous editions of the Global Start Up Program.
- Participation is reserved for innovative startups, registered as an innovative startup in the specific special section of the Business Register c/o the Chamber of Commerce to which they belong with the mandatory requirements established by current legislation, on the basis of Legislative Decree 18 October 2012, 179, converted, with amendments, by Law 17 December 2012, n. 221.
