Global Shinhan InnoBoost Program for Startups (Vietnam)

Deadline Date: May 03, 2026

Global Shinhan InnoBoost 2026 is an open innovation program offering startups an opportunity to validate solutions through real-world collaboration and scale alongside Shinhan Financial Group in Vietnam.

The program focuses on Tech-enabled Industry solutions, Fintech and Beyond, AI and Data Intelligence, and Tech-driven Innovation including SalesTech, MarTech, and E-commerce technologies, while encouraging startups with strong MVPs, proven traction, scalable business models, and collaborative partnership proposals aligned with Shinhan’s ecosystem.

The initiative invites 5 to 8 startups to participate in an intensive 11 to 12 week Proof of Concept program designed to test and refine their solutions in real business environments. Startups are expected to bring working MVPs and demonstrate readiness for scaling, while also proposing collaboration models that create value for Shinhan companies.

Shinhan Bank Vietnam is seeking innovation across domains such as AI-powered financial coaching, customer engagement automation, personalized loyalty systems, call bots for collections and sales, fraud prevention using voice biometrics, SME credit scoring through POS data, and smart branch management solutions. The bank is also exploring embedded finance solutions like Buy Now Pay Later for e-commerce and SoftPOS systems for micro businesses.

Shinhan Finance Vietnam is focused on areas including intelligent document processing, falsified document detection, enhanced eKYC through video processes, AI-driven CRM systems, open banking APIs for credit scoring and instant loan approvals, cybersecurity applications, and customer behavior prediction. Additional interests include business intelligence automation and voice-to-text technologies.

Shinhan Securities Vietnam is encouraging innovation in AI-native rapid PoC development, enhanced investment experiences, AI-powered financial content generation, end-to-end accounting automation, compliance and regulatory technologies, and digital assets including tokenized securities.

Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam is looking for solutions in data analytics platforms, voice AI rating systems, insurance claims fraud detection, and AI-powered digital health ecosystems to improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.

Selected startups will benefit from real-world PoC validation, enabling them to test product-market fit and demonstrate feasibility to investors and corporate partners. Each successful startup can receive up to VND 200 million in funding to support further product development and pilot scaling.

The program also provides opportunities to participate in networking events, pitch sessions, and Demo Day showcases, offering visibility within the innovation ecosystem. Startups will receive dedicated mentorship through one-on-one consultations with industry experts, along with continuous guidance throughout the program.

Additionally, participants will gain access to business matching opportunities with Shinhan and its partners, helping them explore long-term collaborations. The program supports market expansion by offering exposure in Vietnam and international markets, while also enabling startups to co-host events and strengthen their branding within the innovation ecosystem.

To be eligible, applicants must have a legally registered entity in Vietnam at the time of PoC implementation, possess a working MVP or PoC, and have a team of at least five members with committed participation from founders or core members. The program accepts startups operating in Vietnamese or English and requires alignment with the defined business domains such as fintech, insurtech, AI, and data-driven innovation.
