Applicants are now invited to submit applications for the GENESIS Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EiR) Program to support and kickstart your entrepreneurial journey.
Applicants must not have received significant external funding exceeding ₹10 lakh, including government grants, and must not have been previously supported under any MeitY schemes. Support under GENESIS is extended only once.
Applicants must be working on innovations at the stage of Ideation, Concept Development, Validation/Problem-Solution Fit, Proof of Concept (PoC), or Prototyping/Working Prototype in order to be considered for support under the GENESIS EiR Cohort 2 program.
Applicants working in the domain of Electronic Design and manufacturing, Deeptech Software/products and ICT space must only be considered. Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply, and applications are accepted exclusively from applicants or entities registered in Tier II and Tier III cities. The opportunity is open to founders or co-founders of DPIIT-registered startups that are not more than two years old.
A key requirement of the program is full-time commitment, meaning the applicant must dedicate themselves entirely to working on the proposed startup idea for the duration of the EiR program. In addition, selected applicants must be physically incubated at Pilani Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Society, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan. The last date to apply for this opportunity is 23 January 2026.
