The Electropreneur Park (EP) has launched ESDM incubator fully funded by the Ministry of Electronics Information Technology (MeitY) and has been actively supporting start-ups and budding entrepreneurs to foster innovation in Electronics System Design Manufacturing and Cognitive Computing Social Sensing.
The focus areas of the opportunity are furnished office space, modern state-of-the-art ESDM laboratories, 3D modelling and 3D printer facility, prototyping support, mentoring support, go-to-market assistance, seed fund support, investment and funding support, access to modern designing software, high-speed internet connectivity, virtual incubation and acceleration support, legal and accounting services support, business connects and product improvement guidance, access to experts and faculty of IIIT Delhi, access to various national and international events, and patent filing assistance.
Electropreneur Park has supported 59 startups, developed 183 prototypes, created 129 products, filed 66 IPRs/patents, attracted Rs 25.79 Cr in investment, and generated cumulative revenue of Rs 149 Cr. Based on the success of the project, the next five-year phase, Electropreneur Park 2.0, has been approved by MeitY.
The program encourages start-ups with innovative ideas or solutions in Medtech, Edutech, Automotive Electronics, Strategic Electronics, EV, Defence, Drone technologies, and other related areas to apply for EP 2.0 OCP. Applicants will undergo a rigorous centralized multi-tier screening process, including pre-screening, screening, and onboarding, with evaluation by the Startup Selection Evaluation Committee, whose decision will be final and binding.
Eligible applicants include students or budding entrepreneurs in the ideation stage requiring prototype development support, early or pre-revenue startups, startups at the prototype stage or testing their prototypes, startups with breakthrough technologies ready for implementation, and startups with extraordinary ideas considered under the pre-incubation program.
