Deadline Date: March 29, 2026
The ClimateLaunchpad is now accepting applications to support innovators with mentors and networks to develop ideas, build business plans, and access wider opportunities.
The focus of the programme includes helping individuals and teams with promising early-stage cleantech ideas turn those ideas into viable ventures, providing free access to an online green start-up mini-course to support idea development, offering a 3-day bootcamp and mentoring to participants, enabling them to compete in National and Regional finals, and awarding top performers with the chance to advance to the Global Grand Final in Singapore.
Have a green business or idea you want to develop further? The competition welcomes applicants even without a business plan, as early ideas are encouraged and all applicants receive free access to an online green start-up mini-course. Accepted participants are invited to attend a 3-day boot camp where they receive mentoring and preparation to compete in the National and Regional finals. Those who excel have the opportunity to compete on the global stage at the Global Grand Final in Singapore, gaining valuable exposure and potential pathways for growth.
ClimateLaunchpad is specifically designed for early-stage green business ideas and tailored to very early-stage entrepreneurs. More advanced or later-stage start-ups generally do not fit the intended participant profile, ensuring the curriculum and learning experience align with emerging entrepreneurs’ needs. The competition is open to individuals or teams with promising early-stage cleantech ideas, and participants may apply only in their country of residence and must reside there for the duration of the competition.
Applicants are not eligible if they have previously participated in ClimateLaunchpad with the same business idea or have already been accepted into the Climate KIC Accelerator with that idea. Eligible entrants include companies incorporated for no more than two years at the time of application and those that have attracted less than €200,000 in total external investment. Organisations review eligibility at their discretion to ensure the competition remains aligned with its mission to support early-stage innovation.
