Trans World Radio (TWR) Kenya invites qualified and experienced production companies to submit proposals for the development and production of a documentary film and a book to commemorate 50 years of broadcasting hope in Kenya.
The focus areas of this opportunity are Captures TWR Kenya’s 50-year journey, key milestones, and impact stories, Showcases voices of transformation from staff, listeners, partners, and alumni, Documents TWR Kenya’s evolution in media and ministry, and Inspires audiences to continue partnering in the mission to “Reach people through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God”.
This opportunity aims to celebrate TWR Kenya’s legacy, impact, and transformation from its inception in 1976 to 2026. The documentary will highlight its mission of reaching people through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God, transforming lives, and reaching communities across Kenya. The selected production company will be responsible for developing a high-quality 30–45 minute documentary, including creative concept development, scripting, production, and post-production processes.
The scope of work includes concept development and scripting, pre-production planning, archival research, interviews, scouting locations, and full-scale production across multiple TWR Kenya sites including Nairobi, Lodwar, Marsabit, and Kakuma. High-quality filming in HD or 4K with professional lighting, sound, and cinematography is required.
Post-production responsibilities include video editing, sound design, music scoring, voice-over, color grading, motion graphics, and integration of archival material, photographs, and audio recordings. Additional deliverables include a short highlight version for digital platforms, teaser clips for social media, and final versions in HD and 4K. Translation and subtitling will be required for English and Kiswahili, and copyrights must be assigned to TWR Kenya.
Applicants must submit a company profile, legal status, contact information, a detailed proposal outlining the concept and approach, team composition and biographies, previous documentary or corporate work samples, a full budget including production costs, and references from three recent clients.
