Deadline Date: February 13, 2026
Do you have ideas to improve your community? Are you passionate about tackling local challenges and creating sustainable solutions? SiLab Ukraine invites the active residents of Boryslav, Novorozdil, and Drohobych to participate in an exciting two-day regional hackathon.
These initiatives will focus on enhancing the capacity of individuals to access the labor market, fostering economic independence, and improving overall livelihoods. Through this initiative, SiLab Ukraine seeks to support projects that create long-term impact and provide opportunities for marginalized groups to thrive in today’s dynamic economy.
The priority areas include restoring motivation, confidence, and readiness for work among veterans and internally displaced persons (IDPs); reducing employers’ prejudices toward vulnerable groups; developing inclusive hiring practices; creating professional opportunities for youth; overcoming gender stereotypes in career choices; improving access to self-employment and business support; and fostering social entrepreneurship with positive community impact.
Teams participating in the event can compete for funding of up to €20,000 to implement their solutions and will receive mentoring and expert support throughout the process, from refining ideas to applying for funding and monitoring results.
Eligible participants include initiative groups from the Boryslav, Novorozdil, and Drohobych communities, including local government representatives, public, charitable and veteran organizations, local businesses, employees of social, educational, cultural, and medical institutions, as well as activists, volunteers, IDPs, veterans, and youth leaders.
The event provides a platform for collaboration, innovation, and the creation of tangible social and economic impact within the communities, with a clear priority on addressing the needs of vulnerable groups and youth.
