Deadline Date: January 10, 2026
The Global Sustainable Council is currently accepting applications to support technical and financial proposals for a Justice, Technology & Youth Innovation Programme.
This initiative seeks to empower youth innovators, promote the ethical and responsible use of emerging technologies, and foster justice-oriented, sustainable solutions through collaborative innovation and capacity-building. The programme will include preparatory workshops and culminate in a flagship innovation challenge held in Qatar, with both on-site and remote participation.
The programme is designed to run from February to July 2026, with sessions conducted in English and Arabic. It will feature a high-impact hackathon supported by preparatory activities, expert mentoring, outreach campaigns, and structured implementation phases. The aim is to provide young participants with the tools, guidance, and platform to develop innovative solutions that address societal and technological challenges responsibly and sustainably.
Selected vendors or affiliate partners will manage the programme end-to-end across four key phases. The first phase, Preparatory & Advisory Support, involves proposing thematic areas in justice, technology, youth innovation, and sustainability, onboarding mentors and judges, recruiting at least 100 youth participants, and coordinating participant onboarding. The second phase, Outreach & Visibility, focuses on designing and implementing a communications campaign to reach at least 10,000 individuals digitally and regionally while developing engaging content aligned with programme objectives.
The third phase, Logistics & Programme Coordination, requires developing a comprehensive operational plan, coordinating venues, schedules, registration systems, and participant support, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution. The final phase, Programme Delivery, involves managing on-site registration, ensuring seamless session transitions, providing technical support, and successfully delivering the innovation challenge and supporting workshops.
Eligible applicants include registered for-profit and not-for-profit entities, civil society organizations, think tanks, educational institutions, and event management or technology-focused organizations legally registered to operate in Qatar. Applicants must demonstrate proven experience in delivering innovation programmes or large-scale events, capacity to operate bilingually (English and Arabic preferred), and strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
Through this programme, the GSC aims to create a dynamic platform for youth to develop sustainable and justice-oriented innovations while strengthening cross-cultural collaboration and technological literacy among emerging leaders in Qatar and the region.
