Deadline Date: March 25, 2026
The United Nations Development Programme is inviting applications to participate in the “Restoration of Natural Resources and Enhancement of Sustainable Agriculture and Tourism” project to support sustainable production, product development, and rural economic growth.
The project focuses on supporting participants who are already registered or plan to register as food operators for primary production with the Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA), those interested in developing and marketing their products through farmgate and direct-to-consumer sales, and individuals or households prepared to engage in trainings, mentoring support, and collective initiatives to increase product value and market presence.
Selected participants will receive trainings and mentoring support in branding, marketing, distribution channels, and direct sales, as well as technical assistance tailored to their capacities and needs, including organization of small processing and storage equipment, packaging, and labeling. The project also provides opportunities for networking and promoting products collectively under a regional brand to strengthen market visibility.
Eligible applicants include farmers and beekeepers, whether individually or as part of agricultural associations, rural households producing or planning to process fruits, vegetables, honey, herbs, forest products, natural syrups, jams, compotes, and similar items, members of associations and cooperatives, and producers who already have processed agricultural products.
