Deadline Date: April 28, 2026
The Impact Pioneers ’26 EUROPE is now accepting applications to strengthen collaboration and drive entrepreneurship and innovation for a sustainable and resilient future.
The programme focuses on Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Resilient Futures, with key thematic priorities including Renewable Energy, Buildings and Urban Infrastructure, and Waste and Circularity, alongside promoting knowledge exchange, leadership development, international networking, collaboration, and strengthening entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems to support the green transition.
Organised by the Swedish Institute in collaboration with organisations and companies leading the green transition, the programme creates a platform for participants to exchange knowledge, gain inspiration, and build meaningful professional connections. It aims to foster both local and regional impact by encouraging new approaches to entrepreneurship and innovation.
Over a duration of 10 weeks from June to October 2026, the programme combines weekly online sessions with a one-week immersive on-site visit to Stockholm. This blended format enables participants to engage consistently while also benefiting from in-person collaboration and learning experiences.
Participants will have the opportunity to strengthen their leadership capabilities through shared learning and practical engagement with peers from Eastern Europe, the Baltics, and Sweden. The programme also facilitates direct interaction with the Swedish innovation and startup ecosystem, offering insights into how organisations drive entrepreneurship linked to the green transition.
Through this experience, participants are encouraged to explore new partnerships and contribute to building stronger support structures for innovation in their respective regions. The programme is designed to empower leaders to create meaningful change and enhance collaboration across borders.
Eligible applicants include leaders and enablers working within entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystems across Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden. Applicants must be actively engaged in or developing collaborations related to the green transition, hold positions that allow them to build international partnerships, and demonstrate a strong working knowledge of English. They must also be at least 23 years old and be citizens and residents of the eligible countries.
