The iCreate offers funding, mentorship, incubation, prototyping labs, and investor connections to support early-stage deep-tech startups in advancing from proof-of-concept to market-ready solutions.
Focus areas, include supporting women-led Indian deep-tech teams, enabling rapid commercialisation of hardware prototypes, providing end-to-end support via iCreate’s Pro-Fund Gateway, offering funding ranging from ₹2 lakh to ₹40 lakh, and connecting startups with mentorship, prototyping labs, incubation, and investors.
This International Women’s Day, iCreate has opened a Call for Applications for innovators who have built hardware prototypes that work in lab conditions and are looking to scale to commercialisation. Eligible applicants include individual innovators, students, or startups who are Indian citizens and whose projects are in the idea-to-proof-of-concept stage or already have a PoC ready. Projects should relate to hardware or software-based technology innovation. For grants supported by the Government of Gujarat, startups must be registered as LLPs or private limited companies in Gujarat.
iCreate strongly recommends that applicants reside on campus to maximize the benefits of the programme. Projects with on-campus teams will be given higher preference during the selection process. The initiative aims to provide a fast runway for women-led deep-tech startups to move from prototype to market-ready solutions through structured mentorship, access to advanced labs, and strategic investor connections.
