Deadline Date: April 03, 2026
The ERIA is launching a call for femtech startups to showcase solutions that address women’s health challenges and contribute to the growth of the healthcare innovation ecosystem in the Asia-Pacific region.
The initiative focuses on reproductive and sexual health, women’s wellness and mental health, pregnancy, nursing, and postpartum care, and healthy and active ageing. It also aims to raise awareness and advocacy on key women’s health challenges, showcase innovative solutions focused on women’s health, and foster cross-sector collaboration and community engagement within the Medical Excellence in Asia framework.
HITS4WOMEN leverages innovation to strengthen partnerships between researchers and practitioners, driving inclusive, multi-sector progress within the regional femtech and women’s health ecosystems. Participating startups have the chance to pitch in front of international companies, investors, and policymakers, engage in business matching with ERIA’s network of ecosystem players, collaborate on future healthcare-related and business projects, gain visibility through ERIA’s official reports and social media, and receive tokens of participation or certificates of appreciation.
Eligible startups are early- to growth-stage femtech companies operating in, or preparing to launch in, at least one Asian country, demonstrating clear evidence of early product–market fit through pilot results, user feedback, or market demand. Their solutions must address pressing healthcare challenges faced by women in target markets, adopt a science- or evidence-based approach supported by preliminary validation, be open to engaging in ERIA’s research, policy dialogues, or knowledge exchange initiatives, and show aspirations for regional or international collaboration through market expansion, R&D partnerships, pilot projects, or joint initiatives.
This call presents an opportunity for femtech startups to contribute to improving women’s health outcomes across Asia, build strategic partnerships, and gain recognition within a growing and impactful innovation ecosystem.
