Deadline: 27-January -2026
The Prime Minister’s Cloud Program for Startups, led by Ignite – National Technology Fund under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, is a one-year national initiative designed to help Pakistani tech startups adopt, optimize, and scale cloud infrastructure while reducing costs and strengthening the local digital ecosystem.
The program focuses on several key objectives: providing up to 60% cloud cost reimbursement, offering expert guidance on cloud architecture, service selection, and cost optimization, and enabling ecosystem exposure through program-led activities and collaborations with leading Cloud Service Providers (CSPs).
Eligible startups must be technology-based, at an early deployment or scaling stage, demonstrate growth potential and readiness to scale, use or plan to use cloud infrastructure, and justify cloud usage aligned with their business needs. Selected startups will benefit from tiered cloud cost reimbursement based on their stage, expert mentorship, and structured collaboration with CSPs to enhance operational efficiency and market readiness.
The program works through a competitive application process where selected startups receive a formal offer with service and cloud credit limits along with agreed KPIs, including user growth, revenue, and milestone targets. Startups will use cloud services with their own funds, submit invoices for verification, and receive reimbursement according to the approved tier. Regular quarterly reporting on cloud usage and impact against agreed metrics is required to track progress and ensure alignment with program objectives.
