The YASIKA Programme seeks to foster a new generation of entrepreneurs capable of building sustainable business relationships and contributing to the socio-economic development of Congo-Brazzaville. The programme is structured around two dedicated Tracks: the Upskilling Track and the Incubation Track. Applicants may choose one of the two Tracks depending on their stage of development and readiness.
The Incubation Track targets companies founded by candidates who can demonstrate clear elements of environmental sustainability and who operate in one of the identified technological sectors. Eligible sectors include Agritech solutions designed to increase productivity and optimize resource use through tools such as sensors, drones, and artificial intelligence. Climate Tech innovations that help mitigate and adapt to climate change are also supported, as are activities in the energy and green economy that promote growth while reducing environmental impact. Other projects that demonstrate social sustainability and benefit the agricultural value chain or the environment are also considered for this track.
The Upskilling Track is open to individuals residing in Congo-Brazzaville who are seeking to strengthen their entrepreneurial capacity. Candidates must have access to a computer at least three days per week, possess basic digital skills, and be willing to dedicate at least 20 hours per week over a period of six months to complete the required training and activities.
Together, these Tracks provide a comprehensive support system that enables aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs to gain the knowledge, structure and operational capacity needed to grow their initiatives. The programme aims to cultivate entrepreneurial talent that can meaningfully contribute to environmental sustainability, economic opportunity, and innovation in Congo-Brazzaville.
