Deadline Date: April 10, 2026
The CLIC Connector Program supports agribusinesses in Sub-Saharan Africa to strengthen their environmental and social impact while preparing for successful investor engagement.
The program focuses on supporting early- and growth-stage agribusinesses in Sub-Saharan Africa that are post-revenue with at least two years of operations and one year of audited financial statements. Eligible businesses should be actively seeking commercial capital through debt, equity, or grant-based fundraising, and implement or plan to implement climate- and nature-positive practices or provide related products or services to the agrifood sector. The management team must include at least two people, with one main contact fluent in English and able to commit to the program’s time requirements.
Successful applicants receive four to six months of hands-on technical assistance, followed by transition into an alumni program. Alumni benefit from continued direct connections to investors and partners, media publicity support, and access to relevant resources, ensuring sustained growth and visibility.
Through the Connector Program, agribusinesses can strengthen their impact messaging, improve investor readiness, and expand networks with partners and capital providers. The program enables businesses to demonstrate measurable environmental and social benefits while scaling operations across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Participating enterprises gain the tools, guidance, and connections needed to secure funding, grow sustainably, and enhance their contribution to climate- and nature-positive practices in the agrifood sector.
The CLIC Connector Program helps agribusinesses bridge the gap between strong operational performance and investor readiness, fostering innovation, sustainability, and long-term growth.
