The Incubation Centre IIT Patna invites aspiring innovators, idea-stage founders and student entrepreneurs to apply for its Pre-Incubation Program.
The program focuses on ESDM, AI/ML and IoT, MedTech and Life Sciences, AgriTech and Sustainability, EV and CleanTech, and Defence. The initiative is designed to support individuals working at the ideation, concept development, or early prototyping stage by providing structured mentorship, access to essential resources, and a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurial growth.
Selected participants will benefit from pre-incubation support available at extension centres including Gaya College of Engineering (Gaya), Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology (Muzaffarpur), Bhagalpur College of Engineering (Bhagalpur), and Darbhanga College of Engineering (Darbhanga), where facilities such as lab access, co-working spaces, and hostel accommodation are provided to enable focused development of ideas.
They offer grant support of up to ₹2 lakhs to help innovators advance their projects during the one-year pre-incubation period. Eligibility criteria require applicants to be citizens of India and full-time undergraduate or postgraduate students actively engaged in entrepreneurial pursuits, with preference given to those willing to participate on-site at the extension centres.
