Deadline: October 23, 2025
The Odlum Brown Forum Pitch is an opportunity for women, non-binary, and trans-femme founders with registered businesses in Canada to pitch their business vision and fuel growth through mentorship, prizes, and investor connections.
The program targets registered businesses in Canada majority-owned by self-identifying women, non-binary, or trans-femme founders, excluding registered charities or not-for-profit organizations, with at least six months of business development or market research, a growing team, and plans to raise external capital within 12 months. Participants should have a clear product or service with proof of concept, customer validation, strategic partnerships, or pilot projects, along with a basic funding roadmap that includes financial planning, pitch materials, and expressed interest in raising capital.
Applicants are required to submit a 60-second pitch video introducing themselves and their business, detailing the market problem they address, their solution, proof of traction, and their investment ask if applicable. Upon selection, semi-finalists receive paid trips to Toronto and Vancouver, mentorship worth $5,000, access to a mentor program, and opportunities to meet investors and network with peers. Finalists gain prize packages valued at around $30,000 CAD, national brand exposure, performance coaching, educational program access, and exclusive media content to boost their business growth and visibility.
