Deadline Date: February 23, 2026
The AI Digital Adoption Program supports Nova Scotia small and medium-sized businesses in moving from learning about artificial intelligence to confidently implementing practical AI solutions that improve productivity and business operations.
The program focuses on AI leadership training for decision-makers, productivity improvement, automation of repetitive tasks, enhanced customer service, improved data and insights, responsible AI adoption, practical AI implementation, workflow efficiency, and AI-enabled business operations.
The AI Digital Adoption Program is designed to help businesses understand where AI can deliver the most value and how it can be applied responsibly within their existing operations. It combines structured learning with hands-on support to reduce uncertainty and enable informed decision-making around AI adoption.
Participating businesses begin with AI Leadership Training, where senior leaders gain practical knowledge about AI capabilities, use cases, and responsible implementation. This training is developed in partnership with NSCC and is tailored for executives and decision-makers.
Following the training, eligible businesses may apply for the AI Digital Adoption Grant, which covers up to 75 percent of implementation costs, up to $8,500 plus HST. This funding supports the adoption of AI tools, systems, or workflows aligned with business needs.
Businesses then work with AI consultants to assess requirements, define realistic use cases, and plan implementation projects. Delivery partners support the execution of these projects, including system deployment, staff training, and ensuring measurable business value.
The program is open to Nova Scotia-based businesses that are registered and operating in the province, have at least five employees, have been in operation for a minimum of two years, and can nominate executive-level participants to complete the training. Applications close on February 23, 2026.
